On September 30, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province and the Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Quang Ngai Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City to organize a health consultation program, medical examination, and free medicine distribution for 1,000 policy households, children, and people in difficult circumstances in Nghia Hanh and Minh Long districts (Quang Ngai).

Participating in the free medical examination and medicine distribution were doctors from Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC) and the Young Doctors Club of Quang Ngai province along with a number of agencies and units in Quang Ngai province.
Mr. Huynh Lua, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghia Hanh District, expressed: "Representing 500 people in Nghia Hanh District who received free medical examination and medicine, we are extremely grateful to the philanthropists and doctors of Cho Ray Hospital for spending time and effort to help people in difficult circumstances in the area."

The purpose of medical examination and treatment and free medicine distribution is to mobilize social resources in health care for the people, especially policy families, children and people in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Tran Dinh Vinh, Chairman of the Quang Ngai Business Club in Ho Chi Minh City, said that although living far from home, Quang Ngai children in Ho Chi Minh City always follow the development of their homeland. At the same time, they strive to work and study to make more practical contributions to the development of the province. "We always try and improve more to spread these meaningful activities," said Mr. Vinh.
