HUFLIT continues to meet training program quality accreditation standards

HUFLIT received a certificate of quality accreditation for Oriental Studies at the university level.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology (HUFLIT) also achieved the second cycle of educational institution quality assessment standards issued by the Center for Educational Quality Assessment - Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Continue to affirm training quality

After the majors of English Language, Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, International Business and Economic Law, HUFLIT continues to receive the certificate of quality accreditation for the undergraduate Oriental Studies major. This is an important milestone in the work of improving the training quality of the University.

Speaking at the ceremony, MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien - Deputy Director of the Center for Education Quality Assurance of VNU-HCM - commented: "Education quality is always the top priority and achieving accreditation certification is not only a testament to the School's tireless efforts, but also a commitment to society about the quality of training that the School provides.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, by 2025, in addition to assessing the quality of educational institutions, each university must have at least 35% of its training programs assessed. Thus, up to now, with 50% of the programs meeting the assessment standards, it has exceeded the target standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Training quality is determined as the guiding principle for the School to constantly improve and develop. Each generation of HUFLIT students who have become famous in all fields is a clear proof that the School always emphasizes training quality, choosing learners as the center to adjust, update and improve both the training program and teaching methods.

Over 32 years of establishment and development, the School has made constant efforts to overcome the limits of traditional universities, becoming a university recognized by society for its impressive achievements in education, innovation, and towards modern, experiential, and practical learning methods, thereby equipping students with a solid knowledge base before entering the labor market.

HUFLIT spends 13 billion VND/year lending to students to pay tuition fees

Students are considered to borrow money from the Student Support Fund (as prescribed) to pay tuition fees without interest. After graduating and working, students must complete the principal repayment within 2 years.

This is one of the School's new support policies for students. On the first day of admission procedures for the 2024-2025 school year, 5 new students received support from this fund (10 million VND/case).

Previously, 04 students in year 02 and year 03 were also able to borrow money to cover tuition fees. Among them, the student received the highest amount of financial support worth 30.75 million VND. The total amount of money taken from HUFLIT Student Support Fund for the first phase was 132.83 million VND.

In addition, at the Opening Ceremony, the School also announced a scholarship fund for students for the 2024-2025 school year worth 11 billion VND.

On this occasion, the School awarded two scholarships worth 50% of the full course tuition (about 25 million VND) to the two top students at the entrance exam and 36 scholarships worth 25% of the full course tuition (about 12.5 million VND) to the top students in the major. This scholarship is granted for the first year, with conditions to maintain the scholarship in the following years.

In addition, the School also offers many scholarships for new students such as companion scholarships, experience scholarships, steady-step scholarships... with a total value of 2.3 billion VND.

In addition to scholarships from the school fund, the School also receives a lot of support from businesses and philanthropists with the aim of joining hands to take care of students.

At the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year, businesses donated a total of nearly 1.5 billion VND to the HUFLIT scholarship fund. Previously, in the 2023-2024 school year, the School received support from businesses, organizations, and international universities with a total scholarship value of nearly 8 billion VND.

The School regularly promotes cooperation and association activities with leading corporations and businesses in many fields to help students enhance their learning experience, gain practical experience early, and provide more opportunities for internships, training, and jobs right from when they are still in school.

Sharing at the opening ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, the school's principal, had a message for more than 5,000 new students: "At HUFLIT, we always believe that learning is not limited to books and classrooms.
