Meeting of former Provincial Youth Union officials through the ages

On the morning of March 22, the Standing Committee of Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Former Provincial Youth Union Officials Club to organize a meeting of generations of Provincial Youth Union officials to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025).

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh - Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Nguyen Minh Trieu - former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union from 1997 to 2002, Vice Chairman of the Former Officials Club of Tay Ninh Provincial Youth Union and members of the Club; Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and current officials of the district, town and city Youth Unions.

Provincial leaders presented flowers to congratulate the meeting of former Provincial Youth Union officials of all periods.

At the meeting, members of the Former Provincial Youth Union Club, provincial leaders and Provincial Youth Union officials observed a minute of silence to commemorate former Provincial Youth Union officials and club members who have passed away in recent years. This is a ritual for young Youth Union officials to express their gratitude for the leadership and contributions of generations of Provincial Youth Union officials in the construction and development of the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Minh Trieu - former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union from 1997 to 2002 expressed his thanks to the current generation of Youth Union cadres who still remember and show affection for the generations of former Youth Union cadres every year. At the same time, he reviewed the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in general and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tay Ninh province in particular over the past 94 years; shared memories during the time working at the Provincial Youth Union as well as in current life.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Trieu - former Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union 1997-2002 spoke to review the tradition of Youth Union cadres through the periods.

On the anniversary of the Great Friend of the Union, Mr. Dang Van Ninh - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union from 1972 to 1980, emotionally shared that after 94 years of training, studying and growing up, generations of Vietnamese youth, including Tay Ninh youth, have devoted their youth to fighting, training, studying and building the country and homeland.

You – the young people in the renovation period must be young people who know how to respect the past, cherish the present and look to the future. He hopes that you, the union members, the youth, especially the union officials of the province today, can promote your youth, intelligence and creativity to make the province more and more progressive with the trend of the country.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union responded to the message of former Provincial Youth Union officials.

In response to the message from former Provincial Youth Union officials, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union gave an overview of the youth situation as well as the revolutionary action movements that the province's youth have been implementing effectively in the past time; at the same time, on behalf of the province's youth, he promised to always strive to compete, be creative, and build the Youth Union to grow stronger and stronger, attracting a large number of union members and young people to participate, thereby contributing to the common achievements of the homeland in all fields.

Provincial Youth Union cadres of all periods congratulate the Union on its birthday.

On the occasion of the Union's birthday, Kieu Phan Fund presented gifts to two former Union officials in difficult circumstances. The family of the first Provincial Union Chief of Tay Ninh - Mr. Kieu Phan presented Kieu Phan Fund with 100 million VND to help take care of children in Tay Ninh province.
