BHG - On the afternoon of March 14, the Steering Committee for inventorying public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State under the management of Ha Giang province held a meeting. Comrade Ha Thi Minh Hanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were leaders of departments and branches that are members of the Steering Committee and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

Pursuant to the guidance of the Ministry of Finance and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, from February 18 to March 13, 2025, the Department of Finance coordinated with relevant sectors to directly inspect the inventory of public assets at provincial and district-level units. A total of 1,270 units completed the registration of public asset reporting entities, reaching 100% of the set plan. The results of the approval of reports of specific agencies and units are as follows: 85.8% of fixed assets have had their reports approved; 87.8% of road infrastructure assets have been approved; over 83% of clean water infrastructure assets have been approved; 88% of irrigation infrastructure assets have been approved; 89.1% of market infrastructure assets have been approved; 100% of industrial cluster infrastructure assets, industrial park infrastructure assets, and economic zone infrastructure assets have been approved; Cultural infrastructure assets group reached 86.9%.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates focused on assessing the results achieved and limitations such as: Some units have not been resolute and proactive in implementing the general inventory of public assets; Commune-level People's Committees have not paid attention to monitoring and accounting for infrastructure assets such as clean water, irrigation, and village cultural house headquarters, so there is no basis for entering data into the software system; the establishment of inventory teams in units is still slow... At the same time, they proposed directions and tasks for implementation in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Thi Minh Hanh requested agencies and units to seriously implement the general inventory task on time according to the plan and conclusion of the Provincial People's Committee. The Department of Finance focuses on urging units and localities to enter completed data on the public asset inventory software system. For agencies and units, based on the inventory results, rectify the work of monitoring public assets to ensure compliance with regulations, especially for keeping records of assets invested in construction and procurement. Enhance the role and responsibility of heads of agencies, units and localities in implementing the general inventory task of public assets and infrastructure assets invested by the State under the management of the province. Strive to complete the general inventory of public assets 2 months earlier than the deadline assigned by the Central Government.
