On March 20, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs chaired and coordinated with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Vietnam Television and Vietnam News Agency to organize the program Meeting Vietnamese and Chinese students of all periods on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025.

On the Chinese side, there were the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Vietnam Ha Vi and his wife, representatives of Chinese friendship figures; the Chinese community in Vietnam; about 800 delegates from Vietnam and China. These are generations of students - those who have directly witnessed the development of Vietnam-China relations and the presence of representatives of the young generation - the future of the two countries.
Here, the delegates were moved to listen to the sharing of veteran comrades, Chinese friendship figures and students from both countries, recalling the profound memories and good feelings during their time studying and working in China and Vietnam; at the same time, expressing their trust and expectations for a bright future for the development of the relationship between the two Parties, two countries and two peoples.

The program aims to contribute to realizing the common perception of the two countries' senior leaders on inheriting and promoting traditional friendship, enhancing political trust, demonstrating the importance of cooperation in training, fostering and raising awareness of the two countries' young generations about the Vietnam-China friendship; meeting and encouraging the young generations, overseas students and students of the two countries through the periods to continue to inherit and promote the tradition of friendship, making positive and practical contributions to the relationship between the two Parties and the two countries in the new period, consolidating the social foundation for bilateral relations.

At the program, delegates met and interacted with guests: Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, former member of the Politburo, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, former Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, former student of Duc Tai Guilin School, Guangxi; Ms. Lu My Niem, teacher of Guangxi Normal University (used to be an interpreter at Duc Tai Guilin School, Guangxi); Mr. Ly Tien Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Principal of Guangxi Normal University; Hoang Hieu Long, PhD student majoring in Linguistics at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Lecturer at Guangxi University; Tran Thien Tu, master's degree graduate from the Central Academy of Drama, China.
Within the framework of the Program, General Secretary To Lam and delegates visited the Photo Exhibition on achievements over 75 years of Vietnam-China relations, with the main theme being friendly cooperation and people-to-people exchange between the two countries through the ages.

The exhibition introduces about 30 photos, including many valuable photos such as the photo of President Ho Chi Minh meeting and holding talks with Chairman Mao Zedong on November 2, 1960 in Beijing (China); President Ho Chi Minh and Prime Minister Zhou Enlai signing the Vietnam-China Joint Statement (Beijing, July 8, 1955); Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cam and Chinese Foreign Minister Duong Gia Trien signing the Land Border Treaty between the two countries (Hanoi, December 30, 1999); General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and his wife, along with General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping and his wife, attended a meeting with Vietnamese-Chinese friendship figures and young generations (Hanoi, December 13, 2023); General Secretary and President To Lam attended a meeting with representatives of Chinese friendship figures (August 18, 2024, in Guangzhou)...
General Secretary To Lam and delegates took souvenir photos and attended the Art Program; Exchanged and met with Vietnamese and Chinese students; and planted the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Tree" at the Vietnam-China Friendship Palace.
