Opening of the Folk Song, Dance and Music Festival of Dien Bien Province

Dien Bien TV - Within the framework of the 2025 Ban Flower Festival and the 8th Ethnic Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival, on March 14, at the Dien Bien Phu Cultural Exchange and Tourism Information Center, the opening ceremony of the Folk Song, Dance and Music Festival of Ethnic Groups of Dien Bien province took place.

The folk song, folk dance and folk music festival has 9 mass art troupes from 9/10 districts, towns and cities in the province. Each troupe participates in the festival with 3 performances including folk song, folk dance and folk music.

With unique traditional costumes, imbued with the cultural identity of Dien Bien ethnic groups, the artists and actors of each group brought to the program folk songs, folk dances, folk music, and traditional musical instrument performances, typical of the ethnic groups living in the area. Thereby contributing to promoting the culture of Dien Bien highlands, introducing, honoring, and preserving the traditional beauty of ethnic groups in Dien Bien province in particular and the characteristics of the Northwest highlands.
