THE STAR. Malaysia will introduce a 30-day visa-free entry for visitors from the Middle East, Turkey, Jordan, China and India from December 1, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced.
BANGKOK POST. Additional measures to boost Thai-Malaysian border trade and tourism are expected to be discussed during a meeting between the two Prime Ministers in Songkhla province, Thailand today, November 27.
YONHAP. South Korea, China and Japan agreed to speed up preparations for a trilateral summit as soon as possible.

KYODO. The foreign ministers of Japan and China held their first meeting on November 25 in Busan, discussing ways to stabilize tense bilateral relations.
PTI. India is "crushin' terrorism" with all its might, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said as he paid tribute to the victims of the November 26, 2008, Mumbai terror attacks.
TIMES OF INDIA. India and Nepal conducted the 17th joint military exercise named Surya Kiran ( Sun Ray ) at Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand state, northern India from November 24 to December 7.
EGYPT NEWS. Egypt announced that it had received a list of 13 Israeli hostages to be freed on November 26, in exchange for the release of 39 Palestinian prisoners.
TIMES OF ISRAEL. Israel will resume its military campaign in the Gaza Strip after the ceasefire with the Hamas Islamist movement ends, said Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff General Herzi Halevi.
JORDAN TIMES. At a tripartite meeting in the capital Amman, the foreign ministers of Jordan, Portugal and Slovenia jointly called for urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

XINHUA. Armenia and Saudi Arabia have established formal diplomatic relations to strengthen bilateral ties and expand the scope of cooperation and support for international peace and security.
AP. Tens of thousands of people in Italy took to the streets to celebrate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls amid rising violence against women in the country.

SUDAN TRIBUNE. The African Union (AU) strongly condemns the ongoing conflict in Sudan and calls for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in the country.
XINHUA. Mali signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Russia on the construction of a gold refinery with a capacity of 200 tons/year, which is expected to be the largest gold refinery in West Africa and will allow Mali to increase its income.

TEMPO. The governments of Indonesia and Australia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a bilateral mechanism to promote cooperation in the field of electric vehicles (EV).
ABC. Australia is on track to meet its 2030 emissions reduction target , Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen said, citing data from the annual Climate Change Review (CCS).
