Immediately after receiving the information, the City Police Command Center mobilized 1 command vehicle, 2 fire trucks from the Hoang Mai Fire Prevention and Rescue Team, and the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department to quickly arrive at the scene to organize fire fighting and rescue.

At the scene, the authorities determined that the fire occurred on the 3rd floor of a 6-story building (about 60 square meters/floor) on Giap Bat Street. Firefighting vehicles had difficulty accessing the fire due to the narrow road leading to the scene.
Upon arriving at the scene, realizing that there were people trapped in the fire, the authorities immediately launched search and rescue operations to quickly approach and urgently bring the trapped people to a safe location. At the same time, they organized fire fighting to prevent the fire from spreading to the floors of the house and neighboring houses. At the time of the fire, the surrounding people quickly used fire extinguishers at the public fire station located in lane 29, Giap Bat street to support the authorities in fighting the fire from the beginning.

After a period of organizing fire fighting and rescue, at 0:22 a.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and local people, promptly bringing 8 people in the same family to safety. The fire did not cause any human casualties, property damage is being counted. The cause of the fire is currently being verified, investigated and clarified by the authorities.
