Nearly 45 billion VND to support people affected by storms and floods

Leaders of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee received support from flood victims from the family of Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, former Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee.

The Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee has received support from 13 individuals, units and organizations with a total amount of more than 13 billion VND. Of which, the family of Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, former Politburo member, former Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee donated 100 million VND; the Hanoi Party Committee Office donated 40 million VND; officials, reporters and employees of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper donated 70 million VND; officials and people of Hai Ba Trung District donated 800 million VND; the City Department of Home Affairs donated 100 million VND; TECHPRO Technology Development Joint Stock Company donated 50 million VND; Hai Ha Investment and Transport Joint Stock Company donated 500 million VND; MEDLATEC GROUP System donated 150 million VND; Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) donated 50 million VND; Phu My Group Joint Stock Company donated 500 million VND; Officials and people of Xuan Dinh ward donated 300 million VND...

As of 4:00 p.m. on September 12, the total amount of money transferred to the city's "Relief" Fund from agencies, units, organizations and individuals to support people affected by storms and floods was nearly 45 billion VND.
