The Vung Ang – Bung Expressway project is over 55km long with a total investment of over 12,500 billion VND. The starting point of the project intersects with National Highway 12C, connecting with Ham Nghi – Vung Ang Expressway in Ky Tan Commune, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province and the end point connects with Bung – Van Ninh Expressway in Cu Nam Commune, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province. Throughout the project, there are many bridges over lakes, valleys, and difficult terrain for construction. |

Bridge No. 1 is 942m long and is located in Ky Hoa commune, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh. This is one of the construction items on difficult terrain of the Vung Ang - Bung expressway project. |

According to an engineer in charge of construction, bridge No. 1 has 22 girder spans, the highest pillar is up to 50m. Construction of this item requires a team of highly skilled engineers and workers, with strict standards in labor safety. |

The investor is urging the contractor to focus all human resources, equipment, and machinery on continuous construction, basically completing the main route of the expressway component projects through Ha Tinh by April 30, and opening the entire route from Ha Tinh to Quang Tri from June 30 (6-8 months ahead of schedule). |

The North-South Eastern Expressway, phase 2021 - 2025, through Ha Tinh province has 3 component projects, including: Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang and Vung Ang - Bung with a total length of more than 102km. Up to now, the entire route of the projects is in the final stage for completion and handover. |
