Tien Linh and Quang Hai were absent from the first training session of the Vietnam team.

According to the team, the four players mentioned above are still in pain from the injuries they suffered at their clubs in the V-League recently. Therefore, the above players have to practice separately at the hotel.

Coach Kim Sang-sik (Korean) will start the Asian qualifying campaign with a match against Laos on March 25. Before that, on March 19, the Vietnamese team will have a friendly match with Cambodia.
