Provincial Party Secretary congratulates Vietnam Farmers' Union on traditional day

On the afternoon of October 14, comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, came to congratulate the Provincial Farmers' Association on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024).

Also attending were comrade Do Viet Anh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan presented flowers and sent best wishes to all cadres and farmers' union members on the occasion of the traditional day.

Recognizing, praising and appreciating the achievements of the Farmers' Association at all levels in the past time, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that these results have made important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province. In particular, the Association has done a good job of propagating and mobilizing members and farmers to strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; especially those related to agriculture, farmers and rural areas; building new rural areas, advanced rural areas and model rural areas. The emulation movements and campaigns of the Association have been actively responded to and participated in by a large number of cadres and farmer members, especially the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably"; many examples of good production and business, effective economic models have appeared. Thereby affirming the role of the Association in supporting and accompanying farmers.

Emphasizing the key tasks of the province in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that the Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province would continue to promote the good results and experiences that have been achieved, widely and effectively deploy emulation movements, aiming to solve the problems facing farmers and rural residents such as: Solutions to promote the value of agricultural heritage in urban areas; develop green agriculture; renew traditional craft villages; participate in the carbon credit market... To do so, it is necessary to promote restructuring of the agricultural sector; change the mindset in developing the farm economy towards combining tourism; continue to promote the role of farmers in developing green agriculture; promote support for farmers to help farmers access credit sources, develop production and business..., thereby contributing to realizing the development aspirations of the province, striving to turn Ninh Binh into a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area and a creative city.

On behalf of the cadres, members and farmers in the province, Comrade Hoang Van Thang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association expressed his joy and gratitude for the attention and encouragement of the Provincial Party Secretary. At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, all levels of the Farmers' Association in the province will continue to unite, innovate their working methods, and strive to fulfill their assigned tasks well. In addition, the Associations at all levels hope to continue to receive the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the coordination of all levels, sectors and localities to organize the Association to operate more effectively, contributing to the development of agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
