There are 30 households committed to handing over land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.

In the first session, working group No. 1 came to propagate and mobilize households in the frontline area of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project adjacent to Vo Nguyen Giap street in Phuoc Tan ward.

This is considered the area with the largest number of households yet to hand over their land, with more than 200 households. In the morning, the delegation mobilized 6 households to sign a commitment to hand over their land within 7 days.

Among them, Mr. Tran Minh Hoang’s household has a large area of land and has sold the land use right certificates to many other households. These households continue to rent out the land and open businesses along Vo Nguyen Giap Street. Through the propaganda and mobilization of the delegation, the landowner and the business tenants have all committed to demolishing the construction and handing over the land this week.

Summarizing the mobilization work of 6 working groups on the morning of February 17, in Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc wards, nearly 30 households agreed and signed a commitment to hand over the site for project construction.

Some households had opinions and recommendations to the delegations about land prices, resettlement considerations, support for construction on land, etc. The delegation members also clearly explained according to current regulations when the state reclaims land.

Also at the propaganda session, the leader of Bien Hoa city emphasized that in cases where the land has been communicated and explained but the land has not been handed over, the City Party Committee will direct the City People's Committee to coordinate with the Dong Nai Province Land Fund Development Center and relevant sectors to develop a plan for enforcement.

According to the plan, the propaganda and mobilization of households to hand over the land will last continuously for 10 days, including nights and weekends, with the goal of handing over the entire land for project construction within March.

It is known that up to now, the land area handed over on the ground to implement the project through Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc wards is nearly 44.5 hectares, reaching nearly 75% of the land area that needs to be recovered. The total length of each section that is eligible for construction has been handed over 4.68km/6.2km, corresponding to 75.5% of the length of the route through the area.

The remaining area is in the area of 666 households. Most of these households bought and sold land by hand-written documents; built illegal houses and are not eligible for resettlement.
