New soldiers train in formation |
At Battalion 1, after nearly 1 month in the military environment, now Private Ho Dang Khoa (a soldier of Platoon 5, Company 2) and his comrades are no longer as bewildered as the first days of entering the army. The regimes, internal regulations and the hard training on the training ground have truly trained them with the courage and determination to become a revolutionary soldier.
"Studying and training at the unit, I feel that I have matured a lot. The disciplined living environment and the hard training on the training ground have tempered me to become more and more resilient and courageous. In the future, the training intensity will be more difficult, but I will always strive and be determined to complete all assigned tasks well," Ho Dang Khoa confided.
Looking at the way the new recruits live, study and train, we see in them maturity, courage and a disciplined lifestyle. From the initial confusion, the blankets were folded neatly, square and sharp; the clothes and shoes were also arranged neatly and uniformly.
Private Le Ba Khanh Trinh (soldier of Platoon 8, Company 3) shared: In the first days of joining the army, we encountered many difficulties, especially having to follow 11 daily regimes and fold blankets according to regulations. With the guidance of the staff and my own efforts and determination, I quickly integrated and gradually got used to life here. The army is the environment for us to train and mature.
Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Nhat, Deputy Battalion Commander of Battalion 1, said: During the 3 months of training for new recruits, soldiers will be taught and trained in many subjects. In addition to political lessons, they will also be trained in regulations, tactics, and infantry combat techniques, focusing on AK submachine gun shooting lesson 1, throwing grenades at long range and hitting targets, and wrapping and using explosives. These are difficult training lessons, requiring hard work and skillful execution of movement skills, especially mastering safety rules.
“In order to ensure quality and effective training, the unit has made thorough preparations in all aspects, from lesson plans, lectures to training grounds, training grounds, teaching aids and applying technical innovations to training. The battalion commander also regularly reminds company and platoon officers to always pay attention to and care for the thoughts and aspirations of new soldiers to make the new recruits feel secure and determined to do their jobs well,” said Senior Lieutenant Tran Van Nhat.
The two-year journey in the military will still have many difficulties and challenges, but the army will be a great school to train soldiers to become more mature, have a disciplined lifestyle and have the will and mettle of a revolutionary soldier.
