General To Lam visits and presents gifts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024 in Hung Yen

Economic growth rate is high at 10.05%, average income per capita reaches 110.4 million VND, budget revenue reaches more than 33 trillion VND.

In particular, social security policies and care for people's lives are given attention; gratitude work, organizing visits, giving gifts, supporting and caring for people with meritorious services, the elderly, poor households, social protection and people in difficult circumstances are implemented promptly and effectively.

The multidimensional poverty rate decreased to less than 0.9%; the number of trained workers reached more than 69%; the number of employed workers increased by more than 24,000 people; vocational training enrollment for more than 62,500 people; visits and gifts were organized for more than 158,000 people with meritorious services, families of martyrs, the elderly, the poor, near-poor households and other social groups; timely support for building new and repairing houses for more than 800 poor households and households of Agent Orange victims...

However, in some areas, the material and spiritual life, working conditions and environment of a part of the people, workers and laborers are still difficult.

Minister of Public Security To Lam requested the Party Committee and government of Hung Yen province to: Continue to effectively implement social security policies, promote the tradition of great solidarity, the spirit of mutual love and mutual assistance, and the national morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water;

Implement the national target program on sustainable poverty reduction, respond to the movement of the whole country joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind; take good care of the material and spiritual life of the people.

Pay attention to taking care of policy families, people in difficult circumstances, poor households, workers and unemployed laborers. Implement well Directive No. 26 of the Secretariat on organizing the 2024 Giap Thin New Year, to ensure that people in the province enjoy the Spring Festival, celebrate the Giap Thin New Year joyfully, safely and healthily.

On this occasion, General To Lam presented 600 gifts; representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Hung Yen province also presented gifts to policy families, the poor, workers and laborers in Hung Yen province.

On the same day, General To Lam and his delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Martyr Dao Van Hung and the family of Ms. Trinh Thi Ha, who are in difficult circumstances in Thien Phien commune, Tien Lu district, Hung Yen province.

On this occasion, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, also visited and presented Tet gifts to the Provincial Police and Military Command of Hung Yen province.
