Ministry of Industry and Trade mobilizes and appoints a series of leaders for the second time this month

(NLDO) - The Minister of Industry and Trade said that there will continue to be appropriate review, arrangement, transfer, and rotation of staff.

At the conference, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel Tran Quang Huy announced the Prime Minister's Decision and the Decisions on mobilizing, appointing, transferring, and receiving civil servants leading units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Accordingly, Mr. Phan Van Ban, member of the Party Executive Committee, former Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, term IV, 2023 - 2028, was transferred to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to join the Standing Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, term 2020 - 2025.

Transfer Mr. Le An Hai, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade for the 2020 - 2025 term, to take up the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade for the 4th term, 2023 - 2028 term.

Appoint Mr. Trinh Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Trade Defense, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Member of the National Competition Commission, to hold the position of Chairman of the National Competition Commission.

Transfer Mr. Luong Hoang Thai, Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department, to take up duties at the Trade Defense Department and appoint him to the position of Director of the Trade Defense Department.

Transfer Mr. Le Trieu Dung, former Chairman of the National Competition Commission, to take up the position of Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department and appoint him as Director of the Multilateral Trade Policy Department.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien said that in the current context, the reorganization of the apparatus and the arrangement of personnel at all levels have been, are and will be taking place. This is not simply a matter of merging the apparatus but also streamlining the team. Therefore, in the future, the next step will be to streamline the team, and to have an effective working team.

Previously, on March 4, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work with a series of departments and offices.

Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien emphasized: "The officials who are mobilized, arranged and assigned today are all officials who have a history of dedication and have held senior positions. However, in the current context, we are forced to arrange and reorganize to both conform to the spirit of streamlining the apparatus and comply with regulations, the person holding the senior position cannot serve more than 2 terms".

"In the coming time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will continue to review, arrange, organize, mobilize, and rotate appropriately the staff at the Department and Division levels of the Ministry, because the Ministry has reduced 6 focal points compared to before," said the Minister.
