On January 6, at the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on personnel work. Colonel Vu Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes, was appointed to the position of Director of the Quang Tri Provincial Police Department.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, the leader of the Department of Organization and Personnel read the Decision to transfer Colonel Nguyen Duc Hai, Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, to take up the position of Director of Dong Nai Provincial Police. The Minister of Public Security decided to transfer and appoint Colonel Vu Van Dau, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation Police on Social Order Crimes, to take up the position of Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police.

Before being appointed as Director of Quang Tri Provincial Police, Colonel Vu Van Dau held the position of Deputy Director of Bac Giang Provincial Police, Deputy Director of the Department of Investigation Police for Social Order Crimes.
