In the 2021-2026 term, the Elderly Association at all levels in Thuan Nam district effectively implemented key tasks; promoted propaganda for all classes of people, mobilized children and relatives to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; built a strong association organization. The emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" has been promoted in all areas from economic development, building cultural life, environmental protection, building new rural areas... Up to now, the Elderly Association of Thuan Nam district has 4,303 members, accounting for 85% of the elderly in the area. The Association has 40 branches with 81 association groups. Attention has also been paid to caring for the elderly. The whole district currently has 1,455 elderly people receiving social insurance benefits, 87% of elderly people are granted health insurance cards, 1,080 elderly people receive periodic health check-ups...
The Executive Committee of the Elderly Association of Thuan Nam district for the new term was introduced to the congress.
In the coming time, the Elderly Association of Thuan Nam district will continue to carry out 3 key tasks of the association; strongly and widely deploy the emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" to each member and branch of the Elderly Association. At the same time, carry out well the work of caring for the elderly, helping the elderly live happily, healthily and joyfully.
The congress elected 15 comrades to the Executive Committee for the new term and elected 5 delegates to attend the congress at a higher level.
