On the afternoon of December 11, the Provincial People's Council held a plenary session at the hall to implement the content of personnel work. Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Thanh Giang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation; delegates of the 17th Provincial People's Council and leaders of a number of departments and branches.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial People's Committee approved the report on the dismissal and election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. The Provincial People's Council carried out the procedure for the dismissal and election of additional members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Accordingly, Mr. Do Nhu Lam, former Director of the Department of Information and Communications, was dismissed from the position of Member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, who was transferred by competent authorities to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Director of the Department of Information and Communications, was elected as an additional member of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Immediately after completing the content on personnel work, the Provincial People's Council continued to divide into 8 discussion groups, focusing on clarifying a number of issues related to reports, submissions, and draft resolutions submitted to the session. The discussion session in the group was lively, frank, and serious, the delegates clearly demonstrated a high sense of responsibility towards voters and people. The opinions expressed closely followed the discussion suggestions of the session chair, basically agreeing and highly agreeing with the reports and submissions submitted at the session. Contributing to the report on the socio-economic development situation in 2024, the main goals, tasks, and solutions for 2025, the delegates said that the report had assessed closely, correctly, fully, and comprehensively all areas, in which it affirmed: Although there are still many difficulties and challenges, the socio-economic situation of the province is basically stable and has achieved positive results. The total product in the area (GRDP) is estimated at 71,326 billion VND, an increase of 7.01% compared to 2023. The total production value is estimated at 210,455 billion VND, an increase of 6.92% compared to 2023. The cultural and social fields are comprehensively directed, social security is ensured; national defense and security are strengthened, political security, social order and safety are ensured. These results have affirmed the close and timely leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, especially the correct decisions of the Provincial People's Council approved at the meetings have provided timely support, creating great momentum for the province's development. The delegates also clarified the causes, added some shortcomings, limitations and recommended some groups of issues such as: social security work, clean water quality, advanced new rural construction, site clearance, high-tech crime, removing bottlenecks and bottlenecks in socio-economic development, employment issues for workers... Giving comments on the reports and draft resolutions submitted at the meeting, the delegates basically agreed with the necessity of issuing resolutions, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the province.
