On the morning of January 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinated with the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to organize a conference to unify the content and agenda of the session to resolve urgent matters of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.
Comrades: Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and a number of sectors and units.

The meeting will consider and discuss a number of submissions of the Provincial People's Committee such as: approving the investment policy for the project to build a road from Thai Binh city to Hung Ha district connecting with Hung Yen province; approving the investment policy for the dredging and embankment project on both sides of Thong Nhat canal from Nguyen Xa culvert to Au K35, Dong Hung district; issuing a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of contents in the allocation norms for regular expenditure estimates of the state budget in 2022 at all levels of local government budgets issued together with Resolution No. 28/2021/NQ-HDND, dated December 10, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council; list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land in the province and a number of other important contents. The meeting will also carry out the content of personnel work under the authority of the Provincial People's Council. The meeting is expected to take place from January 15 to 17, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed the timely organization of the Provincial People's Council meeting to resolve urgent matters, thereby meeting the requirements of leadership, direction and management of the province's socio-economic development smoothly and in accordance with regulations.
The Provincial Party Secretary and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the contents of the meeting, and at the same time proposed to supplement the report on social security work, preparing Tet gifts for poor and near-poor households, and policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council accepted the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; at the same time, requested the offices of the Provincial People's Committee, the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to proactively advise and urge the sectors to promptly complete the submissions and draft resolutions to ensure quality, compliance with the law, on time, and early transfer to the Provincial People's Council committees for verification and delegates have time to study and contribute quality opinions at the session.
He also requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to coordinate with relevant units to carefully prepare conditions for the meeting.
