Da Nang: Commencement of construction of urban area with total investment of over 11 trillion VND

On the morning of March 21, in Nai Hien Dong ward, Son Tra district, Da Nang city, Thuan Phuoc Bay Urban Investment Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony of Thuan Phuoc - Da Nang New Urban Area.

Thuan Phuoc New Urban Area is one of the large-scale projects, expected to contribute to the modernization of Da Nang urban infrastructure. The project has an area of ​​over 976,000 m², with a total investment of up to 11,493 billion VND.

With a prime location, directly connected to the city's main roads, Thuan Phuoc New Urban Area is planned into many functional subdivisions including low-rise and high-rise residential areas with villas, shophouses, luxury apartments, modern commercial townhouses; commercial center complex, 5-6 star hotels, international conference center; shopping, culinary, entertainment areas with walking streets and bustling commercial areas.

The special highlight of the project is the 16.5-hectare theme park, inspired by the whale worshiping custom - a typical marine culture of the Central region. The park includes a modern water park, a theme cultural area, thrilling game areas, a children's play area, an artistic water music performance area and a sea square combined with a chain of rich culinary restaurants.

Thuan Phuoc New Urban Area Project is designed according to a green urban model, environmentally friendly, aiming for sustainable development.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Nam, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, said that with the orientation of Da Nang becoming an international financial, commercial, service and tourism center in the spirit of Resolution 43 of the Politburo, the City has been promoting infrastructure, attracting strategic projects, especially modern, smart and sustainable urban areas, opening a new era for Da Nang City - a city worth living, worth visiting and worth investing.

According to the development orientation, Thuan Phuoc urban area is one of the key areas in the north of Son Tra peninsula, where the potential converges to become a new center of Da Nang city.
