The forum, co-organized by the National Innovation Center - NIC (Ministry of Finance) and Aitomatic Technology Company (USA), brought together government leaders, business representatives and research institutes to affirm Vietnam's commitment to the process of integration into the global value chain of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries - two key areas for the country's digital economy.
At the forum, the National Innovation Center and related partners announced 3 Initiatives for Vietnam to master semiconductor technology and artificial intelligence. Of which, the “Initiative to incubate and develop startups in the semiconductor field” is an initiative to support startups through the direct support of NIC to create the most favorable conditions for startups in the semiconductor industry to access resources, technology and markets, thereby building a sustainable ecosystem, promoting innovation.
Accordingly, Hyphen Deux - a pioneering startup in the field of semiconductor microchips in Vietnam - was selected to participate in the initiative.
"Joining the NIC Semiconductor Startup Incubation and Development Initiative is an important milestone for Hyphen Deux. This initiative will open up new opportunities for collaboration, market expansion and attracting potential customers as Hyphen Deux aims to establish a thriving domestic semiconductor ecosystem. Hyphen Deux's vision is to become the leading semiconductor IC design company in Vietnam and the ASEAN region, providing comprehensive solutions from concept development to ASICs", shared Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hoang Nam - General Director of Hyphen Deux.
Established in 2022, Hyphen Deux Co., Ltd. is a pioneering start-up in the semiconductor design industry in Vietnam. The unit focuses on designing analog chips, digital chips, embedded systems, specialized integrated chips - ASICs, microcontroller chip systems and AI software applied in the medical field. The unit currently provides a complete solution from design to production, packaging and testing.
The initiative is expected to boost Hyphen Deux's growth and contribution to Vietnam's semiconductor industry, aiming to contribute to strengthening the country's position in the innovation landscape with the explosion of AI and the semiconductor sector globally.
