Car crashes onto sidewalk, breaks traffic sign, 3 people hospitalized

While traveling on National Highway 14 through Pleiku City (Gia Lai), a car suddenly drove onto the sidewalk, hitting and breaking a traffic sign post, causing 2 people to be thrown out of the car and 3 people to be hospitalized.

Accordingly, at about 11:25 a.m. on March 23, car with license plate 34LD-0027 carrying 4 people was traveling on National Highway 14 from Dak Lak province to Gia Lai province.

When arriving in front of house number 753 Truong Chinh street (group 2, Chi Lang ward, Pleiku city), the car suddenly lost control, crashed onto the sidewalk, broke a traffic sign pole, then hit two trees on the side of the road before stopping.

According to witnesses, at the time of the accident, two people were thrown from the car. The three victims were then taken to Gia Lai General Hospital for emergency treatment, one of whom suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in a deep coma. The driver only suffered minor injuries, and the car was severely damaged.

Upon receiving the report, Gia Lai Provincial Police coordinated with relevant authorities to record the scene and investigate the cause of the accident.
