China Central Television (CCTV) reported that General Secretary and President of Vietnam To Lam met with Vietnam-China friendship figures this morning (August 18) right after arriving in Guangzhou city, within the framework of a 3-day state visit to China. The information said that China and Vietnam are mountains connected, rivers connected. From the history associated with President Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary activities in China, to the vivid stories of Chinese doctors who participated in helping Vietnam, all are proof of the close relationship and friendship between the two countries. Vietnam and China are both socialist countries, carrying out socialist construction and reform and innovation; China has continuously been Vietnam's largest trading partner since 2004, while Vietnam is the largest trading partner in ASEAN, showing very close economic and trade exchanges.
