On the afternoon of February 6, the Department of Tourism of Kien Giang province announced the operation of the mobile App project (package 1). The mobile App project and tourism image promotion activities were approved by the People's Committee of Kien Giang province in 2020 with a total investment of nearly 80 billion VND.
The project consists of 2 bidding packages: Equipment procurement, internal software, operational training and system operation consulting. The project will be accepted and put into use on December 31, 2024.

Promote tourists' access and interaction to meet their needs for searching, exploiting, linking tourism services, and convenient payment, contributing to diversifying tourism products and services, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
The website interface integrates virtual reality videos to promote tourism images, online ticket purchasing system, and mobile application (mobile App) of Kien Giang tourism industry.
Improve the capacity of tourism management, operation, exploitation, and improve tourism statistics. Create a large data warehouse to serve analysis, statistics, and serve as a basis for making decisions to direct the province's tourism management and development activities.
