At the conference, authorized by the Director of the Provincial Police, the leaders of the Personnel Organization Department announced the decisions of the Minister of Public Security on the organization of the Provincial Police; the decision to dissolve 09 Police Departments of districts, towns and cities; the decision on the organization of the Police Department of units under the Provincial Police (department and commune levels) and the decisions to transfer 50 leaders of the department and district police to new tasks. Organized the signing of the handover of tasks between the department and district police.
The Provincial Police Department Board of Directors presented decisions to the transferred comrades.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hai, Director of the Provincial Police Department, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and struggles of comrades in the Police Department of units and localities.
In the coming time, the Director of the Provincial Police Department requested the heads of the Police Departments of units and localities to urgently implement decisions on organizational structure; hand over work, documents, and equipment in a complete and serious manner.

The comrades who received the new tasks urgently studied the functions and tasks to quickly and well perform the tasks, especially receiving additional tasks regarding Drug Rehabilitation Centers; testing and issuing driving licenses; issuing judicial records and professional records; and state management of information security.
The Chief of Police of each unit directs and assigns the leaders of the department in charge of the Commune Police to monitor, guide, inspect, and urge the implementation of the tasks of the Commune Police according to the assigned functions, tasks, fields, and force systems.
Commune-level police actively research and coordinate with provincial-level professional units to effectively carry out new tasks.
