BHG - On the afternoon of March 14, comrade Phan Huy Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a meeting with the delegation of the Academy of Finance led by Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Dao Tung, Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Director of the Academy, and other members to visit and present support money for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Also receiving the delegation were comrades: Ly Thi Lan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province; Ha Thi Minh Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Ethnic Council of the Provincial People's Council.

In his welcoming speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc thanked the delegation for their affection for Ha Giang. At the same time, he briefly summarized some of the socio-economic situations of the province. Accordingly, despite many difficulties in terms of terrain and difficult transportation, the province has always been proactive, flexible and creative in directing and implementing socio-economic development targets and tasks, and the people's lives have been increasingly improved. The province focuses on implementing national programs and targets; focusing on building new rural areas; in particular, the province mobilizes resources to support poor and near-poor households to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to settle down. Exploit potential and strengths to develop tourism; exploit the strengths of border trade economy.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc shared: Ha Giang province has many typical agricultural products; in which, Shan Tuyet tea has great potential for development, but the current exploitation and processing technology is still manual. The province focuses on building the brand and traceability of the Mint honey product to increase the value of the product. Besides, the province has many specialties with regional characteristics, but the quantity is small and has not become commodities. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Academy of Finance will support and help the province open training courses, train and foster knowledge of state management of economics for the team of leaders, cadres and civil servants; foster knowledge and skills in disbursing public investment capital; liquidate and settle works and projects; support tax management solutions to increase budget revenue.

Speaking at the reception, Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Dao Tung thanked the provincial leaders for their welcome. He also said that the Academy, in addition to focusing on specialized training in the financial sector, also expanded training in management and implemented many social security activities in a number of localities, including Ha Giang province. Regarding the province's proposal, the Academy will soon pay attention to implementing and advising the province on effective methods. Hopefully, Ha Giang province will support and connect generations of students from the province to participate in studying and training at the Academy; there will be cooperation in training and fostering staff working in the fields of finance and accounting.

Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Dao Tung, Director of the Academy of Finance, presented a gift to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the reception, the delegation of the Academy of Finance presented 135 million VND, equivalent to 100 tons of cement, to Hoang Su Phi district to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
