Big fire at Lien Ha wood craft village, fire red in one corner of the sky

According to initial information, the fire broke out at a factory in Lien Ha wood craft village (Dan Phuong district, Hanoi) and then spread to neighboring factories.

At nearly 6:00 p.m. on December 29, the Hanoi City Police Command Information Center received a fire alarm in Lien Ha commune (Dan Phuong district).

Witnesses said the fire broke out at a wood workshop in Lien Ha wood craft village. The fire started in one workshop and quickly spread to the next workshop.

Upon receiving the news, the City Police Command Information Center mobilized the firefighting and rescue forces of Dan Phuong District Police to the scene. Because there was a lot of wood, paint, machinery... inside the factory, the fire broke out.

The City Police mobilized additional vehicles and officers and soldiers from neighboring districts such as Bac Tu Liem, Hoai Duc, Son Tay... to participate in fire fighting.

By nearly 8:00 p.m., the fire was basically under control. Initial reports determined that 3 factories were on fire.

According to authorities, no one is trapped. Firefighting efforts are still ongoing.
