According to initial information, the fire broke out at around 4:45 a.m. on November 4 at the household that produces and sells electric bicycles named Nguyen Thi Tuyen, on Hai Ba Trung Street, Lim Town, Tien Du District, Bac Ninh Province.

This is a 3-storey residential area, the first floor is for business with an area of ​​about 165m2; the second and third floors are for living, with an area of ​​about 80m2.

Immediately after receiving the news, the authorities mobilized 9 vehicles, including: 1 command vehicle, 4 fire trucks, 1 rescue vehicle, 2 tankers and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene.

Upon arrival, the fire had engulfed the entire first to third floors of the house. The main combustible materials were electric bicycles, plastic, electrical equipment, etc., creating a lot of smoke and toxic gas, making it difficult to search for victims and put out the fire.

At the scene, authorities discovered 1 person trapped in the fire. Firefighters quickly deployed a rescue team, brought the victim out and took him to Tien Du District General Hospital for emergency care.

After about 20 minutes, the fire was under control. By 6am, the fire was extinguished.
