Accordingly, at around 4:50 a.m., the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at a household that also produces and sells electric bicycles on Hai Ba Trung Street, Lim Town (Tien Du District). Bac Ninh Provincial Police dispatched 8 specialized fire fighting vehicles and dozens of firefighters to the scene to put out the fire.

When police arrived at the scene, the fire had engulfed the entire first to third floors of the house. The house contained many electric bicycles, plastic, electrical equipment, etc., so the fire spread quickly, creating a lot of smoke and toxic gas, making it difficult to search for victims and put out the fire.

By about 6 o'clock, the fire was completely extinguished.

During the fire fighting process, the authorities discovered a person trapped in the fire. The fire fighting force quickly responded, took the victim out and took him to Tien Du District General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, this person later died.

According to authorities, the house that caught fire was 3 stories high, the first floor was for selling electric bicycles, with an area of about 165 square meters; the second and third floors were for living, with an area of about 80 square meters.

Currently, authorities are focusing on examining the scene, investigating the cause of the fire, and calculating property damage.
