(Fatherland) - On the afternoon of December 31, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy chaired a meeting with journalists, reporters, and editors of press agencies and summarized press and propaganda work in 2024.

2024 is the 4th year of implementing the 5-year Plan 2021 - 2025, the year of accelerating and breaking through the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolutions of the National Assembly on the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021 - 2025. With the motto of action "Accelerate, be creative, reach the finish line" , with the spirit of "3 Determination, 4 Proactivity, 5 Efficiency" , the leaders of the Ministry always thoroughly grasp the direction of the Prime Minister: "Only discuss action, do not discuss backward", set the highest quality requirements, orientation, propose key tasks and solutions to effectively organize the implementation of the annual work plan and other assigned tasks.
During the year, the field of culture, sports and tourism continued to achieve positive results in many aspects. In particular, in the work of building and perfecting institutions, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism focused on reviewing, promoting the amendment, supplementation, and perfecting of specialized legal policies with 20 legal documents, contributing to removing "bottlenecks" and "knots", creating new spaces for development. The highlight is that the National Assembly passed the Law on Cultural Heritage, the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025-2035; gave opinions on the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising...
Director of the Department of Performing Arts, People's Artist Xuan Bac shared that among the achievements of the entire culture, sports and tourism sector in the past year, the performing arts sector has many outstanding highlights, not only demonstrated through large-scale programs on the occasion of important political events of the country but also as a "boost" bringing positive signals about the prosperity of cultural industries, with top-notch performances, with unprecedented heat in the Vietnamese performance market. These important legal imprints have contributed to removing "bottlenecks" in institutions and policies, creating momentum for the development of the sector in the coming time.
In addition, there is a bright spot in the work of building a cultural environment, with important and profound changes.
