(BTNO) - On the morning of March 27, the Military Service Council (NVQS) of Hoa Thanh town held a conference to summarize the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army and perform their duty to join the People's Public Security in 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Tran Van Khai - Secretary of Hoa Thanh Town Party Committee; Mr. Duong Van U - Chairman of People's Committee, Chairman of Hoa Thanh Town Military Service Council .

In 2025, Hoa Thanh town will have 220 citizens performing military service, 35 young people performing military service to join the People's Public Security; of which, there are 5 party members, exceeding the assigned target by 1.27%, the military service results reached 100% of the target in both quantity and quality.

The Military Service Council of Hoa Thanh town organized the military service to the following units: Infantry Regiment 271 (Infantry Division 5) 78 citizens; Guard Battalion 180 (Military Region 7) 2 citizens; Infantry Regiment 174 (Provincial Military Command) 70 citizens; Provincial Border Guard Command 70 citizens and Provincial Police 35 citizens.

Military policy and military rear work are always given attention. In addition to gifts from organizations at all levels, before leaving for military service, each young man is given gifts and cash worth 2 million VND. In addition, 5 savings books are given to 5 citizens who are party members and have difficult circumstances, each book is worth 20 million VND.

Secretary of Hoa Thanh City Party Committee Tran Van Khai commended the collectives.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hoa Thanh town awarded certificates of merit to 22 collectives, 64 individuals and 4 households with many positive contributions to the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army and the 2025 Military Camp.
