Opening of the exhibition "Da Nang"

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Da Nang City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang City (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), on March 26, the People's Committee of Da Nang City organized the exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration".

The exhibition aims to introduce the city's potential, strengths, achievements in socio-economics, national defense and security to the people, investment partners, domestic and foreign enterprises in order to exploit the maximum development potential of Da Nang city for the whole region and the whole country; is an opportunity to promote the Vietnamese brand, the Da Nang brand, creating stimulus in trade promotion, tourism and investment activities.

Commend the dynamism and creativity in the cause of building and developing the city of all sectors, levels, and enterprises in the process of regional and international economic integration, demonstrating the central role in many aspects of Da Nang city for the Central and Central Highlands regions. Thereby, educating the awareness and pride of the city's people, mobilizing the resources of the whole society to contribute to the sustainable development and successful integration of Da Nang city.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi said that over the past 50 years, Da Nang City has overcome many difficulties and challenges to develop strongly. From a small city, Da Nang has become one of the leading economic, cultural, social and tourism centers of Vietnam.

"The exhibition is an opportunity for us to review the heroic tradition and be proud of the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of the city have created with their strong will, intelligence, creativity and solidarity. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to affirm the position of Da Nang city as the economic - cultural - social and tourism center in the Central - Central Highlands region on the journey of development and international integration", said Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

Taking place from March 26-30 at Tien Son Sports Palace, the exhibition "Da Nang - Development and Integration" is a panoramic picture of the journey of building and developing Da Nang city over the past 50 years. With a total area of ​​over 10,800 m², it is designed into 3 key areas: First, the exhibition area on Party building and achievements in the city's socio-economic fields, which recreates the process of Party building, government building, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; introducing achievements in the fields of science - technology, industry - trade, tourism, culture, information, sports, health, social security, agriculture - environmental resources, construction - urban infrastructure, education - training, sovereignty over seas and islands, foreign affairs and international integration.

Second, the National Defense Security Area displays military equipment and weapons related to the city's defense and security.

Third, the Business Introduction Area includes 130 typical booths, demonstrating the innovative spirit of the business community in the fields of science, high technology, industry, infrastructure, finance, tourism, services, agriculture, forestry, fisheries, etc.

The exhibition introduces the development achievements of industries and fields in the construction and development of Da Nang city and future orientations. The total exhibition area is planned over 10,800 m2.

The exhibition is also an opportunity to promote Vietnamese brands, Da Nang brands, create stimulus in trade, tourism and investment promotion activities, helping to maximize the development potential of Da Nang city for the whole region and the whole country.

The area introduces information and achievements of businesses with nearly 130 booths. Vingroup's booth displays and organizes test drives of all VinFast smart electric car models that are causing a fever in the market, including VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, VF 8 and VF 9.

The Defense - Security exhibition block organized by the City Military Command, City Police, and Da Nang City Border Guard Command displays and exhibits military equipment and content on defense and security of the city.

Many modern devices appeared for the first time before the public in Da Nang.

The exhibition takes place from March 26-30 at Tien Son Sports Palace, Phan Dang Luu Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang City.
