24 artists participate in the art exhibition "Downstream of the Autumn River 2025"

The exhibition "Down the Autumn River" is an initiative of the "Sow Home, Reap Home" Fund founded by artist Ngo Tran Vu (Ho Chi Minh City) in 2017, with the accompaniment of curator Ngo Kim Khoi.

For the past eight years, the exhibition has been held online. This is the first year the artists have joined forces to open a live exhibition.

This exhibition brings together 24 artists from all three regions of the North, Central and South, with famous names that are admired by art lovers, including: Vu Thai Binh, Ho Hung, Hung Ro (Nguyen Manh Hung), Mai Duy Minh, Bui Van Tuat, Bui Tien Tuan, Doan Duc Hung, Thanh Tuan, Dang Tien, Nguyen Minh (Minh Pho), Khong Do Duy, Mai Xuan Oanh, Nguyen Minh, Vu Muoi, Nguyen The Dung, Doan Quoc, Tran Thao Hien, Tran Thi Huyen Thanh, Nguy Dinh Ha, Le Duc Tung, Hai Kien, Le Thu, Bao Huynh and Ngo Tran Vu.

The works on display are rich in style and materials, from oil paintings, silk paintings, do paper... Artist Vu Thai Binh with the work "Dry season on the rocky plateau", depicting the majestic, pristine beauty of the northern mountains through watercolors. Artist Ho Hung brings the watercolor painting "Neighbors" showing the simple beauty of the Vietnamese countryside.

Artist Hung Ro (Nguyen Manh Hung) contributed the work "Silent Autumn" - a peaceful abstract work with soft blue tones. Artist Mai Duy Minh with the black and white painting "Untitled" - a unique and rare abstract work, kept in a family collection and never widely exhibited.

Artist Khong Do Duy brings to the exhibition the work "Old Features" - an interesting combination of form and content, taking viewers on a journey of discovery about themselves and the world around them. Artist Mai Xuan Oanh has the work "Sunny Day", bringing the sophistication, romance and beauty of nature and Vietnamese people...

"Silver Tower" by artist Doan Quoc, a work that was collected on the day of the exhibition.

Painter Ngo Tran Vu, representative of the exhibition organizing committee, expressed his joy and pride that the exhibition "Downstreaming the Autumn River 2025" is not only an art event, a meeting place for talented painters, spreading the love of painting to the public of the capital, but also a bridge for kind hearts on the journey of sharing love.

The works in the exhibition will be auctioned online. 70% of the sale price will be used to build 10 solid houses for families living in temporary houses and not having stable living conditions in Quang Nam and Hue.

Curator Ngo Kim Khoi added: “The special point of this exhibition is the consensus from participating artists on the special selling price for charity. The artists have committed to selling their works at a price lower than any price at their galleries or studios. This means that collectors and art lovers will be able to own unique works of art at the most preferential prices."

The exhibition is open until March 31.
