Recently, at the 21st Session (special session) of the 10th term People's Council of Binh Duong province, term 2021-2026, delegates passed a Resolution to abolish Resolution No. 50/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2021. This decision was made after reviewing the submission of the Provincial People's Committee, the verification report from the Economic and Budget Committee of the People's Council and the delegates' comments.
Previously, in 2020, the Provincial People's Council approved the project investment policy with a total capital of over VND9,600 billion, including a plan to build An Phu toll station on the My Phuoc - Tan Van route. The goal of toll collection is to create a source of funding to implement the construction of works such as overpasses, underpasses, pedestrian overpasses, residential access roads and renovate other routes.
My Phuoc - Tan Van road from Tan Van intersection to Dinh Hoa roundabout has 6 lanes. In particular, the section through An Phu and Thuan Giao wards (Thuan An city) often experiences congestion due to the large number of trucks transporting goods.
The 15km-long road coincides with the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project. During a recent working trip to Binh Duong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the synchronous upgrading of more than 15km of My Phuoc - Tan Van road to improve traffic capacity and synchronously exploit the entire Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 route.
