According to the plan, the Ho Chi Minh road section from Chon Thanh to Duc Hoa is a 6-lane highway with a designed speed of 100 km/h. The first phase is invested with a scale of 2 lanes. |

The project is 72.75km long, starting at the border area of Chon Thanh town (Binh Phuoc) and Bau Bang district (Binh Duong province); ending at the intersection with National Highway N2 (now Ho Chi Minh Road, Duc Hoa district, Long An province). |

The project is divided into 3 packages, in which Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company is the contractor for package XL1 with a length of 31.5km stretching from Bau Bang district to Saigon river bordering Tay Ninh. Package XL01, in addition to the road, also includes 6 bridges including Kenh Phuoc Hoa bridge, Cay Truong bridge, Ba Tu bridge, Thi Tinh bridge, Suoi Tre bridge and Thanh An bridge. |

According to the construction unit, the main volume has basically completed the ground construction, currently constructing the foundation layer of all types of roads reaching 28/31km; asphalt concrete paving reaching 19/31km; drainage culverts have basically been completed; the bridge section has completed the entire lower part of 6/6 bridges, of which: 5/6 bridges have launched the beams; Thanh An bridge is under construction of the cantilever section, expected to close in February 2025, only 3 bridges have completed the bridge deck (Kenh Phuoc Hoa bridge, Ba Tu bridge, Suoi Tre bridge). |

The total construction output of the entire project to date has reached 920/1,665 billion VND (55.2% of the contract value), basically ensuring progress. Of which, the output of Package XL01 to date has reached nearly 70% of the contract value. |

In order for the project to achieve the set progress, the construction unit proposed that the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Binh Duong province request the People's Committee of Bau Bang district to urgently complete the approval of the land compensation price; have a plan to mobilize households to hand over the land for the project early, especially for the main route Km11+641-Km11+681. Quickly relocate the military optical cable at the DT.750 intersection of Division 5, Military Region 7.

Regarding the relocation of medium and low voltage power lines, it is recommended that the People's Committees of Bau Bang and Dau Tieng districts proactively approve the plan to select a contractor to speed up the relocation. It is recommended that Dau Tieng Rubber One Member Co., Ltd. facilitate the cutting down of about 200 rubber trees in advance to hand over the site to the Project. It is recommended that the People's Committees of Bau Bang and Dau Tieng districts hand over the entire remaining site in March 2025.
