After listening to the general report on the results of local tasks in 2024 and the directions and tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts, attempts and positive achievements and results that Viet Yen town achieved in 2024.
He noted that, in the immediate future, Viet Yen town will focus on restructuring the apparatus according to the direction of the Central and the province, doing a good job of ideological work, creating high consensus. Leading and directing the work of organizing party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term in the town Party Committee; focusing on preparing well the personnel work and congress documents; selecting cadres with virtue, talent, integrity, impartiality, capacity, qualities, ethics, and prestige to be selected for the Party committees at all levels for the next term.
To successfully implement the set goals and tasks, Viet Yen town needs to set high determination right from the beginning of the year; closely follow and seriously, promptly and effectively implement the leadership and direction of superiors, the key tasks that have been identified by the locality; promote economic development; research and develop the industrial and service ecosystem; pay attention to resolving complaints and denunciations in the spirit of ensuring the legitimate rights of the people. Coordinate with branches and units to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to deploy the province's economic development tasks and remove difficulties and obstacles in local projects to speed up the progress of projects and soon put the works into use. Also in the afternoon, the Provincial Party Secretary and members of the delegation visited Lam Son Construction and Trading Company Limited (Bac Giang city). The company's revenue in 2024 reached more than 800 billion VND; creating jobs for over 1,000 workers, with an average income of 12 million VND/person/month. For many years, the company has accompanied local authorities and Party committees in social security activities in the province.
Next, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau and members of the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to FuYu Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Quang Chau Industrial Park), a subsidiary of Foxconn Group. Foxconn Group is the largest FDI investor in Bac Giang with 11 projects and an investment capital of 2.2 billion USD. Revenue in 2024 will grow by 70%, employing more than 80,000 workers; the income of workers is about 11 million VND/person/month.

At the enterprises and hospitals, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau sent New Year greetings to the leaders, all cadres, workers, employees, doctors and nurses of the hospitals and enterprises; and congratulated the results that the enterprises and hospitals had achieved in the past year. He highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by the enterprises in production and business activities; created jobs and stable income for tens of thousands of workers; took care of Tet for workers; actively supported and participated in charity and humanitarian activities in the locality.
The Provincial Party Secretary provided an overview of the province's economic development in 2024. He said that despite many difficulties and challenges last year, Bac Giang province still achieved many outstanding results in socio-economic development. In particular, economic growth continuously led the country, budget revenue exceeded the target, the provincial competitiveness index (PCI) ranked 4th nationwide; more than 1,300 temporary and dilapidated houses were eliminated for poor and near-poor households and meritorious people with housing difficulties... Social security policies were well implemented, people's lives were improved. Political security and social order and safety were maintained... These achievements had no small contribution from the business community, including Lam Son Construction and Trading Company Limited and FuYu Precision Technology Company Limited. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he commended the efforts and contributions of the businesses.
The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, the hospital's leaders will continue to improve the quality of the medical staff, doctors, and medical examination and treatment, and health care for the people; invest in increasingly modern equipment to meet the requirements of the new situation; pay attention to building an attractive environment to attract good medical staff and doctors to work. At the same time, he hopes that the staff, doctors, and employees at the hospital will always be dedicated and responsible in performing their functions and tasks well and continue to improve their sense of responsibility in performing their tasks with the motto "Doctors are like kind mothers" to better care for the people's health. The province will create maximum conditions within the scope of the law to implement preferential mechanisms for private hospitals to invest, build and develop in the province.
He said that in 2025, Bac Giang will continue to be assigned by the Central Government to achieve economic growth of 15%, which is a rather heavy task. To achieve the set target, the province will focus on streamlining the apparatus; determined to attract more new investors; for enterprises operating in the area, the province will create all conditions for enterprises to expand production and business according to regulations; continue to improve the investment and business environment, create the most open environment for enterprises to develop within the framework of regulations, promote economic growth; focus on eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for families with legal land in September 2025; direct the successful organization of party congresses at all levels. Build a team of cadres with capacity and qualities, contributing to the development of the province in the era of national development.
In the coming time, he hopes that enterprises will actively connect, expand investment, and develop more and more. Promptly report to the provincial authorities to resolve difficulties and problems in the process of operation; at the same time, pay attention to policies to increase income and quality of life for workers, improve the working environment; accompany local Party committees and authorities to respond to social security activities in the province.
