The retail industry is changing rapidly with the development of e-commerce and AI technology. FPT Shop is facing competition from online platforms, while FPT Long Chau is accelerating its expansion to maintain its number one position in the pharmaceutical industry. AI is no longer an option, but a prerequisite for businesses to survive and develop. With AI, FPT Shop can optimize inventory management, improve market demand forecasting capabilities, while FPT Long Chau can leverage AI to support drug consultation, improve service quality and personalize customer experience.

Pioneering the application of AI, the AI-First mindset and application transformation program provides a systematic approach, helping FPT Retail leaders and managers not only understand AI but also apply AI strategically. The program is implemented at the company for about 6 weeks with three main stages: training to guide the platform, deploy AI applications into practice and evaluate the results.

In the first week, the program focuses on AI training for leaders and key departments using the "train the trainers" method. The main contents include an overview of AI, practice applying AI in management, and collecting AI application ideas from departments. The initial results of this phase are to form a core team of personnel with solid knowledge of AI and build a list of potential ideas for implementation.

From the second to the fourth week, the AI-First mindset transformation method is extended to other personnel in the organization. This is an important stage to standardize the AI ​​application process into an AI Playbook, helping the entire system have a unified method in AI deployment. Managers and employees participate in sharing their wishes and ideas for AI application through the Top5Things AI tool - built by FPT for each enterprise, helping to create a database of innovation opportunities in the organization. At the same time, internal communication activities are organized to encourage the spirit of applying AI in daily work.

During the fourth to sixth weeks, FPT will synthesize and evaluate the collected AI application ideas through the AI ​​tool Top5Things. Next, FPT Retail will organize to answer questions, contribute ideas on implementation methods and refine AI processes. After that, the ideas are evaluated, synthesized and standardized into AI application process version 1.0, ready to be applied across the entire system.
