(CLO) On the morning of February 9 (January 12, At Ty year), at Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourist area, Son Dong district (Bac Giang), Bac Giang Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Information and Communications, Son Dong District People's Committee, provincial press agencies and central press agencies with permanent offices in Bac Giang to organize the opening ceremony of At Ty Spring Press Festival 2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Trinh Van Anh, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Giang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, said that the Spring Press Festival is held annually and is a big festival for journalists and the public.
This year's Spring Press Festival is more meaningful when it continues to be held at Tay Yen Tu Spiritual and Ecological Tourist Area, an important event in the series of activities of the Bac Giang Province Culture and Tourism Week in 2025 and takes place at a time when press agencies are enthusiastically competing to achieve achievements to celebrate major anniversaries of the country and the province in 2025, including the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Comrade Trinh Van Anh emphasized that, having accompanied the nation for a century, experiencing many difficulties and harsh challenges, the Vietnamese revolutionary press is not only a historical witness but also a bridge between the Party and the people; a sharp weapon in the struggle for national independence and freedom, an effective tool in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country.
Along with the national press, over the past years, Bac Giang press has constantly innovated and developed in all aspects. The Provincial Journalists Association, Bac Giang Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Song Thuong Magazine have been promoting the application of information technology and digital transformation, thereby creating new and comprehensive changes in professional activities, and increasingly timely and effective propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and local political tasks.
The At Ty Spring Press Festival (taking place from February 9 to 14) has booths of Bac Giang Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Song Thuong Magazine, Provincial Library and central press agencies with permanent offices in Bac Giang. Notably, within the framework of the Spring Press Festival, Bac Giang Newspaper opened an exhibition of more than 100 beautiful photos about the province's socio-economic, defense and security achievements, along with many photos reflecting the development of Bac Giang journalism.

Through the activities at the Spring Press Festival, especially the spring newspaper publications, books, magazines and photo exhibitions, cadres, party members, and visitors from near and far will have a panoramic view of the province's achievements; the innovation and development of the national press in general, and Bac Giang press in particular; the companionship and contribution of the press and journalism team in propagating the political tasks of the country and the province.
At the opening ceremony, 4 groups of authors who won the national press awards and national press awards in 2024 were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
