Specifically regarding health requirements for military service this year, 90.21% of citizens receiving conscription orders had health classifications of type 1 and type 2, compared to the target.

Regarding health requirements for police service: 85.59% of citizens receiving conscription orders have health classifications of type 1 or type 2, compared to the target.

New recruit Nguyen Anh Khoa, 24 years old, will be serving his military duty at the Gia Dinh Regiment. Khoa said: "In the coming time, I will strive and make every effort to train and successfully complete the assigned tasks."

This year, 49% of the new recruits have a university, college, or vocational school degree.

New recruit Nguyen Thanh Phong (from the Gia Dinh Regiment), on behalf of the youth of District 10 in particular and the 22 districts and counties in general, expressed his pride in following in the footsteps of his forefathers to stand in the ranks of the People's Army and the People's Police. The new recruit expressed his determination to overcome all difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the assigned tasks, worthy of being a soldier of Uncle Ho's army.
