The "Special art program to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring, celebrate the country's renewal" chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, assigned the Department of Performing Arts to direct the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Vietnam National Song and Dance Theater, the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater and related units to organize with the theme "95 years - Light to guide the way" with the aim of creating a joyful, healthy and exciting atmosphere for people to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2025, to celebrate the Founding Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), creating a new momentum for the implementation of economic and social development goals and tasks in 2025 and the following years.
Party and State leaders attended the Program
Attending the program were Politburo members: National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai.
Also attending the program were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet; members of the Party Central Committee: Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan; Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; members of the Party Central Committee, alternate members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of ministries, branches, central agencies and Hanoi City.
Speaking at the opening of the Program, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung affirmed: Proud of 95 springs with the Party, in the joy and excitement of celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the Spring of At Ty 2025, today, in the capital Hanoi, with the consent of the Party and State leaders, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with relevant agencies solemnly organized the special art program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), so that "through culture and art and from culture and art", each of us is more proud of the achievements the country has achieved, see "the reason to live, the belief", and "following the Party flag is seeing a bright future" to firmly step into the era of building a strong and developed country.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech of the Program.
The Minister said that exactly 95 years ago, on February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam, founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh, was born. Under the correct and wise leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh, together with the ardent patriotism, the strength of solidarity of the entire nation, the resilience and bravery in combat, creativity in labor, and the wholehearted support and assistance of international friends, our people continued to write the heroic pages of the nation's history, bringing the country to further development.
According to the Minister, in the article "Radiant Vietnam" on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), General Secretary To Lam affirmed: "Through the process of leading the revolution, our Party has been tempered and increasingly matured, strengthened, worthy of its role and mission of leading the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people", "In Vietnam, there is no other political force other than the Communist Party of Vietnam that has enough capacity, courage, intelligence, experience and prestige to lead the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, leading the revolutionary cause of our nation from one victory to another".
"The art program to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam is an opportunity for us to review the glorious history of the glorious Party, the glorious history of the nation; to remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of the Party and our nation; to commemorate the Party's predecessors; the sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. The program is a symphony of faith, pride and aspiration to rise up, because a strong and rich country is not only due to its economic potential but also reflected in its cultural depth, rich identity, which nothing can dissolve" - Minister Nguyen Van Hung shared.

The Minister pointed out that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh affirmed that "Culture guides the nation", taking artistic inspiration from that teaching, the 95-year Art Program - Light guides the way was staged in 3 chapters "Light of guidance", "Light of innovation" and "Era of light", through language and artistic techniques, epic songs about love for the homeland, love for the Party, to continue writing the Spring of aspiration - the aspiration to rise up for the prosperity and longevity of the nation, for the prosperity and happiness of the country.
The history of the Vietnamese people is an endless epic.
With a duration of 80 minutes, the program brings the audience impressive moments of enjoying art by combining singing, dancing, music, art commentary, documentary reports; using 3D Mapping technology, screen graphics...
The special art program is built according to the historical journey of the country with 03 chapters with the themes "Guiding light"; "Light of innovation"; "Era of light" taking the audience on the historical journey of the nation from "Dark night" to historical choices. Under the domination of colonialism and feudalism, our nation was immersed in the darkness of oppression and misery. The lullaby of a Northern mother with sadness and resentment about the high taxes, heavy levies, and miserable life of the people. Or the "Mai Day" song of a Central mother: "Pushing the boat, the waves beat, my heart aches/The Perfume River is red with blood, my people are sad/The Westerners came to destroy our homeland/Lost children, old mothers cried/Oh, the people of Hue are poor/The country is still there, resentment is piled high"... and the "Da Co Hoai Lang" song with an artistic dance to express the feelings of the people during the long period of dark history with extreme suffering and oppression. The lyrics read on the background music seem to sow in people's hearts sympathy for a painful period of the nation: "...During the time of slavery, our country was lost/The scene was miserable, the sky and earth were dark/A life of pain for a hundred years/Birds hung on fire, fish under knives".

But it was during those dark years that a torch was lit - the torch of revolutionary ideals, of the guiding light brought by the Communist Party of Vietnam. That torch was the light in the dark night of history, guiding the entire nation out of darkness, opening the path to liberation and independence.
The songs have heroic melodies that bring the audience back to the moments when the whole country united, overthrew oppression and slavery, and brought about a life of freedom and independence.
"Cung nhau di hong binh" - "Thanh nien ra tien tuyen", Muoi 19 thang 8, "Tien quan ca", "Doan ve quoc quan"... and "Ho keo Phao", "Qua mien Tay Bac"... "Buoc chan tren do Truong Son" - "Giai phan mien Nam"... art performances, mixed with historical documentaries, 3D mapping images showing the history of the Vietnamese people after fighting against the French and then against the Americans, is an endless epic, always steadfast against all invaders, where the desire for freedom and independence always burns in the hearts of every Vietnamese child.

The image of a country at a historical turning point, when it begins to change in a new direction, not only in politics and economy, but also in the thinking of each person, including artistic performances: medley "Melody of the Fatherland" and "Praise the Fatherland", "The Party is my life", "The Party Flag" performed by artists: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Symphony Orchestra..., works: "Vietnamese Hearts", "Proud Melody", Mashup "The Road We Go" and "Red Blood, Yellow Skin" recreating the achievements of the country after 40 years of renovation, expressed through the voices of artists, singers Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, Male and female choirs of the Vietnam National Academy of Music...
Over the past 95 years, under the guiding light of the Communist Party of Vietnam, our people have overcome countless difficulties and challenges to achieve great victories. From the torch that lit the revolutionary path, to the strong belief in the resistance war, and now a new era - the era of strong growth of the Vietnamese people.
