Funeral and farewell ceremony for comrade Pham Minh Doan, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, to his final resting place.

At 6:00 a.m. on March 25, the memorial service for comrade Pham Minh Doan, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, was solemnly held at his home - No. 36, Tran Oanh Street, Truong Thi Ward, Thanh Hoa City.

Provincial leaders attended the funeral.

Attending the funeral were comrades: Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial National Assembly Delegation, leaders of provincial departments, branches, organizations, local authorities and many friends and relatives.

With infinite sorrow, provincial leaders, leaders of departments, agencies, provincial unions, local authorities, residential blocks, along with many friends and family members burned incense to bid farewell to comrade Pham Minh Doan and expressed condolences to his family.

Reading the eulogy, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan, Head of the Funeral Committee, stated: Comrade Pham Minh Doan, a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, was born on February 24, 1945 in Vinh Long commune, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province - a rural area rich in cultural, patriotic and revolutionary traditions.

Delegates observed a minute of silence in memory of former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Minh Doan.

Inheriting the good traditions of his family and hometown, with his intelligent and studious nature, during his nearly 40 years of work (1969-2007), he held many positions, including taking on important responsibilities of the province.

He was formerly Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province; former member of the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee (term XIII, XIV, XV); former Director of the Department of Trade and Tourism of Thanh Hoa; former Director of the Department of Taxation of Thanh Hoa; former Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Prices of Thanh Hoa.

He has an honest, simple, pure lifestyle, is enthusiastic about the work of the collective, close to the people, loves his comrades and colleagues with all his heart... and is respected and loved by everyone.

After the funeral, provincial leaders and family members of comrade Pham Minh Doan performed the funeral procession, moving comrade Pham Minh Doan's coffin to the cremation station at Phuc Lac Vien Universal Crematorium and burial at Vinh Long Commune Cemetery, Vinh Loc District.
