60 students in Thanh Mien learn music and sing Cheo

Representatives of the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts opened the training course.

On the morning of March 11, Thanh Mien district organized a training class on singing and Cheo music in 2024 for 60 students.

These are all cultural cores in the district who know how to sing Cheo and use traditional musical instruments. During the 11-day training course, the trainees will be taught 10 Cheo melodies, Cheo performance techniques, basic Cheo dance forms, accompanying dances for Cheo songs and methods of using some traditional musical instruments by lecturers from the Provincial Cultural and Artistic Center.

Also on the morning of March 11, the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts coordinated to organize a program to direct cultural and artistic activities in Thanh Tung commune. During 7 days, 60 members who are cultural and artistic cores of art clubs and art teams in Thanh Tung commune will be guided by lecturers of the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts and collaborators on the process of establishing hobby clubs, and on choreographing and staging a number of art and sports performances.

The training class on singing, Cheo music and the program to direct grassroots cultural and artistic activities in Thanh Mien district is the first class and program organized by the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts in 2024.
