The MINI Aceman will make its world debut at the upcoming Beijing International Automobile Exhibition next week. The model is positioned between the MINI Cooper and Countryman in the brand's lineup.

The MINI Aceman will be produced by Spotlight Automotive, a joint venture formed by BMW and Great Wall Motor (GWM).
The company hasn’t provided many details yet, and teaser photos show the Aceman wearing camouflage to hide its design. However, the model did appear in the database of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) last month.
Based on information from MIIT, the Aceman will have two versions including the base option and the higher-end S version. The car is 4,076 – 4,094mm long, 1,754mm wide, 1,515mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,606mm.

For comparison, the current Countryman is 4,433mm long, 1,843mm wide and 1,656mm tall. The wheelbase stretches to 2,692mm.
Both versions use nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery packs supplied by GWM subsidiary Svolt.
The standard Aceman has a range of up to 300km. The electric motor on this version has a capacity of 181 horsepower, located at the front.
With the Aceman S, the electric motor has a higher capacity of 215 horsepower, giving a maximum speed of 170km/h instead of 160km/h like the standard version. The battery pack is also larger, allowing the Aceman S to travel up to 400km after each full charge.
In addition to the Aceman, MINI will also display the MINI Cooper in both E and SE versions as well as the Countryman John Cooper Works at the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show.
