The 2024 BMW R1300GS is equipped with a completely new 1,300cc boxer-twin engine, producing a maximum capacity of 145 horsepower at 7,750 rpm. This is the most powerful engine ever from BMW Motorrad, providing outstanding performance for this superbike. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox, helping the vehicle operate more powerfully.
The R1300GS's frame is made from trellis steel, which is not only strong but also lighter than its predecessor, helping to reduce the overall weight of the bike to 237kg. This makes it lighter than the R1250GS. The suspension consists of Evo Telelever front forks and Evo Paralever rear shock absorbers, providing better damping response, making the ride more stable.
One of the highlights of the new R1300GS is BMW's Dynamic Suspension Assist (DSA) technology, which offers adaptive height control and optional sport suspension, enhancing off-road capability.
The vehicle has 4 driving modes: Road, Rain, Eco, and Enduro. Road and Rain modes help customize the vehicle's power according to road conditions, while Eco mode maximizes fuel economy.
In addition, the car is also equipped with adaptive cruise control (ACC), forward collision warning (FCW) and lane departure warning (SWW), helping the driver to be safer on every journey. In addition, the car also has a smartphone charging system with a USB charging port and a 12V charging socket. Heated seats are an additional option, providing maximum comfort for the driver in cold weather conditions.
