Building a bridge across the Day River and adding a public high school is of interest to voters.

On the afternoon of June 12, the delegation of the Hanoi People's Council - Constituency No. 24, including delegates: Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Quang Duc, Director of the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Dai, Head of the Legal Committee of the Hanoi People's Council Duy Hoang Duong met with voters of Hoai Duc district.

At the meeting with voters, Head of the Legal Committee of the Hanoi People's Council Duy Hoang Duong informed voters of Hoai Duc district about the expected content, time and preparations for the regular mid-year session of 2024 (17th session) of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026. Accordingly, the session is expected to consider and approve 57 contents, including regular and thematic reports and resolutions.

The delegates presented a summary report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of 2024 of the City People's Committee, and summarized and responded to opinions and recommendations of voters of Hoai Duc district after the 14th session of the City People's Council.

At the meeting, there were 4 opinions sent to the City People's Council Delegation on issues including collection levels for educational support services, unfinished service land infrastructure, environmental pollution of the Day River, degraded bridges across the Day River, and traffic impacts. Voter Tran Viet Thanh (Hoai Duc District Youth Union) expressed his opinion on the implementation of Resolution 03/2024/NQ-HDND dated March 29, 2024 of the City People's Council regulating revenue items and collection levels, revenue and expenditure management mechanisms for educational support services and training at public preschools and general education institutions. The Resolution only stipulates the "ceiling level", the maximum level applicable to the entire city, but does not stipulate the minimum level and divide it by urban, rural, and mountainous areas - leading to difficulties in implementation.

Voters of Hoai Duc district made recommendations to the City People's Council delegates at the meeting on the afternoon of June 12.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Minh (voter of Dac So commune) reflected that in the area there is a bridge across the Day River, built in 1980 - after more than 40 years of use, it has now seriously degraded and needs to be upgraded. In addition, this voter also requested the City People's Committee to build more high schools in Hoai Duc district - because currently the quota for public schools is very low, causing many students to have to study at private schools with high tuition fees. Voter Le Manh Ha (Song Phuong commune) requested attention to the infrastructure of the X2 service land area in the area, because the electricity system has not been completed yet...

On behalf of the delegation, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the City Party Committee Nguyen Quang Duc received the opinions of voters of Hoai Duc district. At the same time, he said that he would forward the content of the voters' recommendations and reflections to the competent authority for consideration and response according to regulations.
