Implement digital transformation actions

DTO - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Plan to implement Decision No. 1012/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on promulgating the Action Plan for digital transformation of the Government's and the Prime Minister's direction and administration activities online based on data for the period 2024 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

The plan aims to specify the goals, tasks, and solutions to effectively implement the Action Plan for digital transformation of the Government's and the Prime Minister's direction and administration activities online and based on data for the period 2024 - 2025, with a vision to 2030. At the same time, promote connection, integration, sharing, use, and reuse of information and data of the province with the Government; maximize the effectiveness of information systems and databases, ensure accuracy, timeliness, avoid duplication, waste, maximize inheritance of available information and data, information and data must be collected from one source.

The Provincial People's Committee has set out key tasks and solutions. Specifically, building and perfecting institutions, mechanisms and policies; building an information system to serve direction and administration; developing digital data, promoting connection and sharing to serve direction and administration; training and developing human resources; ensuring information security and network security.

To organize the implementation, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee Office to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue indicators serving the direction and administration of Dong Thap province in the electronic environment; review reporting regimes to ensure that only really necessary reporting regimes are issued; reduce reporting regimes that have been replaced by digital data available from information systems and databases.

The Department of Science and Technology effectively operates the Dong Thap province reporting information system and the Dong Thap province shared data warehouse towards forming a provincial command and control information system connected to the command and control information system of the Government and the Prime Minister.

At the same time, coordinate with the Provincial Police and relevant units to ensure information security and network security of the province's information systems and databases; promote information, propaganda and dissemination on the modernization of the direction and administration methods of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Provincial People's Committee in the electronic environment; connect, integrate and share 40 groups of information and two-way real-time online data from the province's shared data warehouse with ministries and branches when requested.

Provincial departments, branches, sectors and district and city People's Committees shall, based on their functions, tasks and contents of this plan, proactively study and implement the contents of Decision No. 1012/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, agencies, units and localities shall report to the Department of Science and Technology for synthesis and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
