Many key officials retire early

Kinhtedothi – The People's Committee of Bac Lieu province has just announced a number of cadres to join the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, along with a list of many key cadres under the management of the Standing Committee who are retiring before the retirement age.

On March 25, Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement the decisions of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work and early retirement decisions for key officials under the management of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.

At the conference, Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy, Head of the Organization Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, announced the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, the Central Party Secretariat unanimously approved Mr. Bui Tan Bay, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Ms. To Viet Thu, Secretary of the Bac Lieu City Party Committee, to join the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Also at this conference, Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy also announced the decisions of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on allowing 10 key officials to retire early according to Decree 178 and Decree 67 of the Government (phase 1), including: Mr. Vuong Phuong Nam, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Le Thanh Giang, former Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Mr. Huynh Quoc Ca, former Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Luu Van Liem, former Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Tran Thi Lan Phuong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Lu Thanh Tung, former Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Mr. Pham Thanh Hien, former Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Mr. Tran Doan Cam, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, former Chairman of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies of Bac Lieu.

Congratulating the comrades who have just been approved to join the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, hopes that Mr. Bui Tan Bay and Ms. To Viet Thu will continue to strive with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee to unite and be determined to successfully complete the targets and tasks set out in the 16th Provincial Party Committee Resolution.

Mr. Lu Van Hung, Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, presented the decision of the Central Party Secretariat approving Mr. Bui Tan Bay and Ms. To Viet Thu to join the Provincial Party Standing Committee.

Regarding the cadres who received the decision to retire early, Mr. Lu Van Hung said that, throughout their working process, they have constantly made efforts and strived to complete their assigned tasks well. Acknowledging and praising the contributions of the cadres who retired early in the past time, the Secretary of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee hopes that the above cadres will continue to monitor, care for, and give advice to Party organizations and authorities in building and developing their homeland Bac Lieu in the coming time.
