Ea Bhok Commune: 100% of security and order surveillance cameras are socialized

On the afternoon of August 3, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Order and Building the Movement "All People Protect National Security" of Ea Bhok Commune (Cu Kuin District) held a launching ceremony for the model "Security and Order Surveillance Camera".

The "Security and Order Surveillance Camera" model has been piloted since June 2023. Up to now, Ea Bhok commune has installed and put into operation 64 security and order surveillance cameras on traffic routes at key locations and complex security and order points.

The camera management system is assigned to the commune police force to directly operate and monitor all activities through a TV screen displaying images from 64 cameras transmitted from locations in the commune.

After more than a month of implementation, the model has initially brought about effectiveness. The authorities have promptly handled reports, verified, clarified and arrested subjects who have repeatedly committed property thefts in the area, and promptly returned the property to the people.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cao Quyet, Chief of Cu Kuin District Police, presented flowers to congratulate the Executive Board of the "Security and Order Surveillance Camera" model of Ea Bhok commune.

It is worth mentioning that to implement the model, the Commune Steering Committee has promoted and mobilized social funds to purchase cameras and recording equipment. After more than a month of implementation, the mobilization team has received more than 250 million VND from units, organizations, enterprises, production and business stores, commercial services and people in Ea Bhok commune to join hands in contributing and supporting.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Ea Bhok Commune People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Phuong said that to promote initial effectiveness, after the launching ceremony, the model's Executive Board, especially the commune police force, will focus on operating and managing the camera system closely, promptly handling violations of the law. The locality will also allocate a budget for maintenance and upkeep. In the long term, it will continue to mobilize internal resources and people's strength to maintain and operate the model effectively.
