Awarding ceremony of the 3rd Dak Lak Province STEM Festival for Primary and Secondary Schools - 2025

On the afternoon of March 1, the Dak Lak Department of Education and Training held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 3rd Dak Lak Province STEM Festival for Primary and Secondary Schools in 2025.

The Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to the authors.

The 3rd Dak Lak Province Primary and Secondary STEM Festival in 2025 has the theme "STEM Education - Connecting Passion and Creativity" including main activities such as: organizing 3 teaching periods on STEM topics at 2 primary and secondary levels; displaying and introducing 108 STEM projects and products of 231 students from primary and secondary schools in the province; organizing a workshop on STEM education with the theme "Improving the quality of STEM education activities in primary and secondary schools"...

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the STEM lessons closely followed the program content, linked subject knowledge with related subjects, were carefully prepared, and attracted students. The contest products were very diverse and rich in many different fields; the basic presentation answered clearly, concisely, and convincingly...

Reward groups with outstanding achievements.

At the end of the STEM Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 First prizes, 16 Second prizes, 22 Third prizes and 30 Fourth prizes to the units. In which, the First prizes belonged to the projects: IOT application to build a model of a smart and safe electricity management system (Nguyen Van Cu Secondary School), Fire alarm, smoke alarm, natural disaster alarm system (Tran Hung Dao Secondary School), Competition management software (Tran Quang Dieu Secondary School), Smart floating bridge (Vo Thi Sau Primary School), Buon Ma Thuot City; My dream residential area (Hoang Van Thu Primary School), Buon Don district; Thermos bottle product set (Y Jut Primary School), Cu Kuin district; Smart clean vegetable garden model (Vo Thi Sau Primary and Secondary School), Ea H'leo district; Blood transfusion rule model (Buon Trap Secondary School) and Decimal learning tool project (Nguyen Van Troi Primary School), Krong Ana district; SeismoGuard: Dual sensor technology for early detection of S and P waves before earthquakes (Phan Chu Trinh Secondary School), Krong Buk district; Solar system model (Le Quy Don Secondary School), Krong Nang district.

Reward individuals with outstanding achievements.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 5 groups and 17 individuals with outstanding achievements at the Festival.

Through the STEM Festival, administrators, teachers and students have had specific and practical experiences and insights into STEM education activities; learned from the organizational experiences of educational institutions, especially how to organize appropriate STEM lessons to promote effectiveness in high schools; and contributed to improving the qualities and capacities of students.
